The Arun Thai Experience

Arun Thai Restaurant is about harmony. It is based on the noble house of 18th century Thailand architecture and lifestyle. The noble house is where the host would invite the guest over. The honoured guests enters the house via the Thai tea house called Sala. Sala is a place for you to relax in the traditional Thai way. Upon entering and passing through the sala you should feel refreshed and relaxed. We have a replica Sala in our restaurant entrance so that the synergy of the period would reflect upon you. You are our honoured guests and we will provide you with the best service, delicious Thai cuisine and the ambience of the Thai culture in our environment.

You as our honoured guests would be sitting on Thai silk covered teak chairs, our plates are made of hand painted ceramic with beautiful Thai Royal pattern enamel finish. Our staff wears Thai silk costumes decorated with traditional Thai pattern.

We are devoted and passionate about giving you the best and authentic Thai cuisine. Our chefs will utilise the best of Australia's fresh produce to create the most appetising, colourful and delicious Thai cuisine just for you. Our chefs are not afraid to introduce new recipe based on Australian unique variety of flora and fauna such as Kangaroos and Emus.

The ideal Thai meal includes soup, rice, curry, stir fried dish, salad and dips. The aim is to harmonize a blend of spicy, sweet, salty, and sour in a meal. We are happy to assist you if you would like the advice on the interesting combinations. If you prefer a milder taste, as Thai dishes are quite spicy and chilli hot, or need a special meal all you have to do is talk to our friendly staff.

Kham, the manager, have carefully assembled a range of the finest Australian, New Zealand and European wines. He is happy to use his experience and knowledge to recommend one that will best enhance your enjoyment of your meal. We carry a larger range than those listed here, please talk to Kham if you require the wines that are not listed here.
