Catalina Rose Bay

There aren't many restaurants anywhere situated better than Catalina: right on the water at Rose Bay with the unencumbered sparkle of Sydney Harbour in front of you. With the seaplane landing occasionally and yachting activity during the day, it's a never-ending harbour vista.
The menu has a strong seafood bent starting with exceptional sushi from a separate menu, freshly shucked oysters and a strong representation of the freshest Sydney has to offer. Despite this E&D tried one of the best cooked steaks in town, and the sweets (including a perfect souffle) are exemplary.
Service is slick & gracious, and the wine list one of the most extensive & comprehensive ranges of Autralian and imported wines in town, with almost anything you could wish for, and a large selection of wines by the glass.
It's open all afternoon so you can dine at your leisure or drop in for a snack & a glasss or two, and settle back and enjoy the view!
